Two Best Water Ionizers & Coral Calcium

Ah, to wake in the morning to a fresh glass of alkaline water! The taste is soft and slightly sweet. Drink 2-3 glasses without the "stuffed" feeling you get with other waters.

Why sweet? Because there's no acid minerals! Acids taste sour. Indeed, sweetness is a test of any food or water. The sweeter a fruit or vegetable, the less pesticides and other acid chemicals in its making. Dr. Baroody mentions in Alkalize or Die:

"The sweeter the food tastes, the higher its alkalinity."

Of course he means raw foods from nature, not junk food made by machines.

• Melody + Orion always give alkaline water, even when cleaning. Jupiter is the first ionizer in the world to offer this. Most other ionizers don't give alkaline water during the cleaning cycle.
• Melody + Orion do a unique post-operation automatic cleansing, each silently cleans itself after every use, for an extended lifespan. Most other ionizers have Neptune's auto-cleanse on start-up.

Professional installation is recommended for this. Attachments include a plumb-in valve and a vented faucet (in photo) that ensures a one way flow of water upwards.

All Jupiter models – including the low-cost UltraTechnos – have a separate coral calcium layer *in their water filter.* This assists ionization in cases of mineral deficient water such as tank water, and helps to maintain your calcium balance. This coral layer is unique to all our Jupiter models.

Coral calcium is the ideal 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium with a host of essential trace elements. As the water runs through the coral layer in the filter, it leaches calcium out. This layer is designed to last the life of the filter – approx. 2,000 gallons or 9 months.

But naturally you get more calcium with an additive port. If you'd like both Tourmaline with FIR and extra ionized calcium, and to locate your Ionizer away from your kitchen sink, then go for the higher-cost Melody or Orion.

Unique to our Jupiter models is the coral calcium layer in the Filter. It means that even in Filter Only mode, you enjoy extra ionized calcium – see Stop Osteoporosis.

In addition, Melody + Orion are unique in their *coral* calcium pellets for the calcium additive port. Most other ionizers use calcium *sulfate.*

In The Calcium Factor: The Scientific Secret of Health and Youth, Barefoot & Reich write:

"The human body is only capable of absorbing about 800 milligrams of calcium each day. Unfortunately, calcium is one of the hardest minerals for the body to absorb. Many of the calcium supplements are only in the 2 to 3% absorption range, while the so called "great" supplements are about only 15%.

The cultures like the Hunzas, who consume over 100,000 mg of calcium each day, obviously get their 800 mg absorption, while harmlessly passing the rest in their urine and excretion. With the Okinawans, because of the microbes in the coral, discovered by Swedish scientists in the 1990's, the absorption approaches nearly 100%.

Therefore, taking 250 mg of calcium in an antacid product, which does severe harm to the elderly by wiping out their crucial stomach acid supplies, usually results in the absorption of 5 mg (2%) calcium by the body over a 20 hour period.

There is substantial evidence that the nutrients in coral are absorbed in less than 20 minutes (the blood chemistry undergoes a drastic change, for the better, in less than 20 minutes). That's almost "50 times as much calcium, 50 times as fast".

No wonder the coral calcium works so well! In addition, when people have major diseases, the consumption of a triple dose of coral provides the maximum calcium absorption.

Coral calcium was first introduced to Western culture when it was brought to Europe by the Spanish explorers about 500 years ago. The world's oldest drugstores in Spain, which today are historic monuments, have clay pots on their shelves labeled "Coral Calcium, Okinawa Japan". Literature written by doctors of the day told of miraculous cures.
